Deadly Crash at Busy Suffolk Roundabout
Tragedy struck at around 10.30am on Saturday, 9 July, when three cars collided on the roundabout linking Hawthorne Drive, Sprites Lane, and Belmont Road.
The smash involved a white Nissan Qashqai, a grey Nissan X-Trail, and a blue Ford Fiesta.
Ford Fiesta Driver Dies, Passenger Seriously Hurt
The driver of the Ford Fiesta was sadly killed in the pile-up. A female passenger in the same car was seriously injured and rushed to Addenbrookes Hospital.
Nissan Occupants Hospitalised
The man and woman inside the Nissans were also taken to ipswich/" title="Ipswich" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Ipswich Hospital with serious injuries.
Road Closure and Witness Appeal
The roundabout remains closed as emergency services deal with the aftermath. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
