In Boston, a nine-year-old girl died from what appears to be a stab wound.
Officers were called to the Fountain Lane incident around 6.20 p.m. today, Thursday, July 28.
We’ve started a murder investigation. We have cordoned off the area and will remain on the scene for the foreseeable future.
The parents of the young girl have been notified, and our thoughts are with them during this extremely difficult time. Officers with specialised training will assist her family.
