Arrests Made in Ilford Murder Probe
A 20-year-old man was arrested in Ilford on Wednesday, 23 November, and a 21-year-old was picked up in Northampton the following day. Both face suspicion of murder and are being held at a south London police station.
Tragic Shooting Shakes Ilford
Police raced to Henley Road just after midnight on Tuesday, 25 October, following reports of a shooting. Armed officers, local police, and paramedics arrived to find three men with gunshot wounds.
Two Dead, One Critical
- Saydi Abu Sheikh, 23, and Zakariya Jeilani Mohamed, 32, both from Ilford, died at the scene.
- A 30-year-old man was rushed to hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.
Families Supported Amidst Ongoing Investigation
Specialist officers are supporting the victims’ families. So far, two men have been charged in connection with the case as police continue their inquiry.
