Vincent Sparkes, 44, from Station Road, Swindon, remains in custody ahead of his next court appearance. He is set to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday, 18 July 2023, at 9.30am.

Sparkes faces charges connected to a stabbing in Broad Street, Swindon, on Tuesday evening (11 July) around 9pm. A man in his 40s tragically died following the attack.
