Police Hunt Man After Baby Assault at Guy’s Hospital
Detectives are on the lookout for a man involved in a shocking common assault incident at Guy’s Hospital in SE1. The drama unfolded on Tuesday, 21 March, but thankfully, the baby escaped without physical injury.
Hospital Horror: Stranger Touches Baby Without Consent
Detective Inspector Fiona Fraser, leading the investigation, revealed the man’s image after failing to identify him so far. “Our enquiries have led us to believe this man may be able to assist the investigation,” she said.
The baby’s mother was waiting for a lift in the busy central London hospital when the man allegedly touched her child without permission. When confronted, he stopped immediately and left the premises.
Officials Appeal For Help To Trace Suspect
Police confirm no other similar reports have come in and urge the man in the image to come forward. “We are working hard to establish all facts surrounding this encounter,” DI Fraser added.
