Four Held After Fatal Stabbing in Canterbury

Four men have been arrested after a young man in his 20s was fatally stabbed in Canterbury city centre. The shocking assault took place late on Thursday night on the city’s bustling High Street near St Margaret’s Street.

Victim Found with Stab Wounds

Kent Police were called to the scene at 11:31pm on 10 October 2024 following reports of a disturbance. Emergency crews arrived to find the victim suffering from stab wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Investigate as Cordon Remains in Place

A police cordon remains around part of Canterbury High Street while officers conduct their investigation. The four men arrested are currently in custody as inquiries continue into the violent incident.
