Garden Death Horror in Handsworth: Couple Charged with Child Neglect
West Midlands Police launched a chilling investigation after discovering a body in a Handsworth garden. Officers were searching a Clarence Road property following tips about a death dating back to 2020.
Man and Woman Arrested Over Child’s Death
On 9 December, a 40-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested. Both face charges of causing or allowing the death of a child, plus wilful neglect. The police have since charged them with neglect and remanded them in custody.
Post-Mortem and Ongoing Inquiry
Post-mortem tests on the recovered body are set to take place. Officers confirmed the current residents of the home have no connection to the investigation.
