Two people are currently being questioned over a brutal murder, as police swooped overnight, arresting four men. The suspects face charges including possession of a bladed weapon, public order offences, and drug-related crimes.
In a crackdown, officers also carried out 10 stop-and-searches across Wallasey and nearby areas as part of ongoing patrols.
Chief Constable Vows Relentless Hunt for Killer
Chief Constable Serena Kennedy has vowed to stop at nothing to catch those responsible for the cold-blooded murder of Elle. She said:
“We are absolutely committed to finding those responsible for this callous and heart-breaking crime. Detectives are relentless in their investigation to uncover what led up to the incident on Christmas Eve and who was behind it.”

Visiting Wallasey Village on Christmas Day morning, Chief Constable Kennedy saw the profound impact the tragedy has had on the local community. She added:
“The use of firearms in a crowded public space is shocking. I urge anyone with information about this horrific shooting to come forward.”
