Brandon MacLean, 20, was sentenced to five years and six months in prison at the High Court in Edinburgh on Monday, January 16th. Following a police investigation, MacLean was convicted of a number of sexual and violent offences, including rape. The crimes were committed in Fife between November 2019 and March 2021. “MacLean will now rightly face the consequences of his despicable actions in prison,” Detective Constable Sean Wesson said. The fact that he was convicted and sentenced is due to the bravery of his victims in coming forward and reporting it to the police.
