Teen Attacked in Broad Daylight Car Park Robbery
A 16-year-old boy was violently robbed while walking with friends in a busy car park on Vicarage Lane. The shocking attack happened between 1.30pm and 1.45pm on Monday, January 23, 2023.
Thugs Demand Coat – Then Turn Violent
Two men approached the teen and ordered him to hand over his coat. When he refused, they punched him several times, forcibly unzipped his coat, and ripped it away.
Suspect Arrested – Police Hunt for Witnesses
Police swiftly arrested an 18-year-old man from ashford/" title="Ashford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Ashford on suspicion of robbery later that same day. He’s now out on bail while inquiries continue.
Officers believe the car park was busy with college students and drivers passing through at the time. They’re urging anyone with dashcam footage or information to come forward immediately.
