Shocking Assault at Swanley Traffic Lights
At 11.30am on Saturday 4 March 2023, a man driving a red Vauxhall Viva on the M25 towards the Dartford Tunnel made a routine slip road exit for Swanley. But what happened next shocked fellow motorists.
While stuck in the traffic light queue, the victim was allegedly attacked by another driver who got out of a black Mini. The man suffered a nasty facial cut and had to be rushed to hospital for treatment.
Suspect Arrested – Police Hunt Witnesses
Police quickly responded and arrested a man in his 50s at the scene. Detective PC Lexi Carter said: “Other drivers queued at the lights may have seen the assault.”
She added, “We are investigating and urgently appeal for anyone with information to come forward.”
