Woman Arrested in Southampton Stabbing Probe

Police have made a new arrest following the murder investigation in Thornhill, Southampton. A 27-year-old woman from Gosport was detained today (17 March) on suspicion of assisting an offender. She remains in custody.

Tragic Death of Mark Noke

Mark Noke, 64, died from a stab wound to the chest in the early hours of 25 February at his Warburton Road home in Thornhill. The shocking murder has sparked a full-scale police investigation.

Multiple Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

  • Six men aged between 20 and 31 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and later released on bail.
  • A 39-year-old man previously arrested for assisting an offender has also been bailed.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Howard Broadribb said: “We are exploring every lead, including those aiding the suspects. Today’s arrests show we will leave no stone unturned to bring the killers to justice.”

He warned anyone harbouring the wanted man Leighton Tabone could face arrest for criminal offences. Broadribb added: “We urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward. It could be crucial for justice.”
