Big Drug Bust in Kent: Three Men Nabbed with Cocaine and Cash
Police Stop Van Loaded with Cocaine in New Ash Green
At 5.05pm on Thursday 27 April 2023, cops pulled over a van near Centre Road, New Ash Green. Inside, they found large amounts of cocaine and cash. The driver was arrested on the spot.
Second Man Caught with More Drugs in Nearby Property
Officers noticed a second man walking away from the van towards a nearby house. Upon searching the property, they uncovered more drug packages. He was promptly arrested too.
Further Arrests in West Kingsdown After Car Stop
At 6.40pm, police stopped a car on Fawkham Road, West Kingsdown. Another man was arrested linked to the same case. The vehicle contained cocaine, cash, and cannabis.
Three Charged with Intent to Supply Drugs
- Stephen Austin, 44, of Longfield
- Scott Wallwork, 47, of Stockport, Greater Manchester
- Lee Barnett, 36, of Gravesend
All three men face charges of possession with intent to supply drugs. They appeared at Maidstone Magistrates on Saturday 29 April and were bailed to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 30 May.
