Pensioner’s Mobility Scooter Stolen Near Leigh Road
A pensioner’s mobility scooter was nabbed outside a home near Leigh Road on Saturday, 9 December 2023.

A man was arrested over the theft but has since been bailed until March 2024.

“The mobility scooter gave the victim freedom to visit shops and get out. Its theft would have seriously affected their daily life,” said West Kent’s Local Policing Chief Inspector Stuart Paul. “That’s why the team were thrilled to recover it so fast. Investigations are ongoing.”
