Three Drug Dealers Nabbed Red-Handed ‘Cooking’ Crack Cocaine in Sheffield

Police Raid Kitchen Drug Lab on Margate Drive

Worral Yee, 68, Junior Neita, 36, and Jerone Blake, 31, were caught mid-crack cocaine production in Yee’s kitchen on Margate Drive on 16 March 2020. PC Gareth Webb, leading the probe, revealed officers from Sheffield’s Fortify Team, backed by the TSG, swooped in after intelligence linked Yee to laundering cocaine for Sheffield’s organised crime groups.

Major Crack Cook-Up Interrupted

“As we stormed the property, the trio were found ‘cooking’ a large batch of crack cocaine right on the stove,” PC Webb said. During the arrest, suspects tried to hide evidence – one threw jars straight into the sink.

Officers removed the entire sink and u-bend for a full forensic sweep, uncovering over £1000 worth of cocaine residue.

Drugs, Knives, and Hidden Stashes Found

  • Blake had 100+ heroin wraps hidden in his underwear and carried a large hunting knife.
  • Neita was found with over £1000 of crack on him.
  • Yee had multiple wraps in his pockets.

Phones seized exposed their roles as major Class A dealers in Sheffield’s street drug network.

Sentenced: Jail Time for Crack Cocaine Kingpins

All three were charged with possession with intent to supply and producing crack cocaine. They pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court, with Blake handed seven years, Yee five years, and Neita 44 months behind bars.

“Catching these men red-handed while ‘cooking up’ is a huge win for law enforcement,” said PC Webb. “They were deeply embedded in Sheffield’s drug trade and now face serious consequences.”

PC Webb urged the public to report suspicions of drug activity in their communities — because tips like these fuel major takedowns that protect Sheffield’s streets long-term.
