Aunt Found Dead with Father and Daughters in Norwich Stabbing Horror
A devastating tragedy has rocked Costessey, near Norwich, after a woman visiting from Thailand was found dead alongside her brother-in-law and his two young daughters. All four victims suffered fatal stab wounds, leaving the local community stunned and grieving.
Who Were the Victims?
- Kanticha Noon, 36: The aunt visiting from Thailand, who arrived in the UK on December 27.
- Bartlomiej Jakub Kuczynski, 45: Husband of Kanticha’s sister, and father to the two girls.
- Downreuang, 7, and Jasmin, 12: The two children tragically caught up in the horror.
Kanticha had been staying with Bartlomiej and his daughters during her unexpected visit. Tragically, none survived the attack.
Friends and Family Mourn
Kanticha’s close friend Naty Wathanakul revealed the deep sorrow sweeping through their community. “She loved her nieces, I always saw their pictures together,” Naty said. “Kanticha was single with no partner, and she spent most of her time with those lovely girls.”
She added that Bartlomiej had been struggling with mental health issues and was currently not working.
Investigation Underway
Post-mortem exams confirmed Bartlomiej died from a stab wound to the neck, while Kanticha suffered multiple stab wounds. The children’s post-mortems are scheduled soon.
Police confirmed the man and children lived at the home, with Kanticha visiting from abroad. They believe no one else was involved in the attack.
Norfolk Police have referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct following previous contact linked to a missing person inquiry at the address.
Detectives continue to probe the shocking crime, with police cordons still in place. Meanwhile, the Costessey community mourns deeply, leaving floral tributes and messages outside the family home. Local headteachers are offering support to pupils and staff affected by this horrific loss.
