The closure of High Road Southbound from A598 Ballards Lane (Tally Ho Corner) to A1003 Woodhouse Road / Kingsway, led to traffic build-up and delays. Several London bus routes, including the 13, 112, 125, 134, 221, 263, 383, 460, and the SL10, have been diverted to navigate around the closure.

The LFB’s 999 Control Officers received a total of 13 calls alerting them to the fire, indicating the concern and vigilance of the local community. Crews from Finchley, Hendon, West Hampstead, Barnet, and Kentish Town fire stations were deployed to the scene, alongside a 32-meter turntable ladder from Paddington Fire Station, to combat the fire.

As of now, the cause of the fire remains undetermined. The London Fire Brigade is conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the origins of the blaze and to assess the extent of the damage caused to the Tally Ho Pub.
