Sex Attack Horror on London Tube Escalator
The British Transport Police (BTP) have launched an urgent appeal after a woman was sexually assaulted at Warren Street Underground station. The disturbing attack happened on an escalator, sparking a swift investigation.
Chilling Incident on Northern Line
The assault took place around 9:45pm on Sunday, February 18, 2024. The victim was travelling on a Northern Line train from Archway when a man boarded and sat a few rows away. At Warren Street, the man got off just ahead of her.
He then followed the woman onto the platform and escalator, where the attack occurred. Thankfully, the victim escaped physical harm, but the emotional trauma remains.
BTP Releases CCTV Image, Wants Witnesses
In a bid to crack the case, BTP has released CCTV footage of a man they believe holds vital clues. The suspect is shown wearing a grey tracksuit and jacket with white trim, topped off with a baseball cap.
Police urge anyone who recognises the man or has information to come forward. Tips can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
