Emergency services have responded to a distressing incident near to the uk/topic/chatterton/">Chatterton Arms bar in Bromley following reports of an acid attack that occurred on Wednesday afternoon 29th May 2024

The London Fire Brigade is also on-site, providing additional support and ensuring the area is safe.
Inquiries have been made to the Metropolitan Police for more information. Spokesperson Gerda Pinciute stated that details were not yet available as the police were not initially aware of the incident. Further updates are anticipated as the situation develops.
