Manhunt Continues for Dolars Aleksanders Over Tragic Death of 12-Year-Old

The hunt is on for 21-year-old Dolars Aleksanders, wanted in connection with the heartbreaking death of 12-year-old Keaton Slater in Coventry. Specialist officers are working round the clock to track him down following the fatal incident.

Second Man Arrested Over Dangerous Driving

In a fresh twist, another 21-year-old man was arrested early yesterday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody as police dig deeper into the case.

How It Happened: Keaton Slater Struck by Black BMW

Keaton tragically died after being hit by a black BMW on Radford Road, around 4.30pm on June 14. Detective Inspector Sam Lewis from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said, “Our investigation is ongoing, and we’re determined to piece together the events of that fateful evening. We’ve identified four individuals believed to be in the vehicle at the time of the incident.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage

One person has been interviewed as a witness, and another released under investigation after a voluntary interview. Both the arrested man and Dolars Aleksanders are believed to have been in the car at the time.

“The community’s support has been overwhelming,” Det Insp Lewis added. “We’re committed to finding Aleksanders and urge anyone with information to get in touch immediately.”

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is also appealing for dash cam footage from the area around the time of the crash. The black BMW linked to the incident was found abandoned on Friday evening in New Arley and is now undergoing forensic examination.
