A man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing incident in Lewisham.
Police were called to Wells Park Road on Sunday, July 21, at approximately 4 pm, after receiving reports of a man with stab injuries. The victim believed to be 18 years old, was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition remains undisclosed at this time.
A crime scene remains in place as police continue their investigations. No arrests have been made so far.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police provided a statement regarding the incident: “Police were called at approximately 16:05hrs on Sunday, 21 July to reports of a man found with stab injuries in Wells Park Road, SE26. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the man believed aged 18, was taken to the hospital for treatment. Crime scenes remain in place at the location. No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
The police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
