In a dramatic turn of events, a man attempting to take down a ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) camera in Uxbridge found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time when police arrived at the scene just as he carried out the act.
The incident occurred as the individual, seemingly intent on removing the controversial camera, was spotted tampering with it. However, within moments, a police vehicle turned the corner, catching him in the act.
Witnesses reported seeing the man hurriedly attempting to flee, but officers quickly apprehended him, preventing any further damage to the camera. The swift intervention by police highlights the ongoing efforts to protect ULEZ infrastructure amid rising tensions over the expansion of the scheme.
