Van Packed with Vet Drugs Stolen in Woolton! Merseyside Police are on high alert after a grey Volkswagen Transporter filled with veterinary medicines was nicked this morning.

The Theft Unveiled

  • The van was grabbed outside St Peter’s Church on Church Road between 8:00 and 8:50 AM, Sunday 12 January.
  • The vehicle’s registration: 73 plate grey VW Transporter.
  • Inside were dangerous veterinary drugs including:
    • Somulose (used for euthanasia)
    • Opioids
    • Sedatives

Public Health Alert

Officials warn these stolen drugs pose a serious health risk if taken by humans. A police spokesperson urged:

“We urge anyone who finds this medication or any other prescription drugs not to consume them. Please hand them into your nearest police station immediately or call 101.”

Police Hunt Underway

  • CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing as cops try to track down the van and catch the thieves.
