An urgent manhunt is underway after a 15-year-old girl was reportedly grabbed by two men who tried to drag her into a car in a chilling abduction attempt in Plymouth.

The shocking incident occurred Sunday evening, March 9, around 6.55pm on Colebrook Road in the quiet residential area of St Budeaux.
The teenage girl was walking along the street when two unknown men approached her. Police say the pair tried to force her into a vehicle, but thankfully she managed to break free and immediately alerted the authorities.
She escaped physically unharmed but shaken after the horrifying ordeal.

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched a major probe and are urgently asking for anyone with witness reports, CCTV footage, or dashcam recordings from the area to come forward.
“Police were called following a report of an attempted kidnap in Plymouth. At around 6.55pm on Sunday, March 9, a female walking along Colebrook Road was grabbed by two males who tried to pull her into a car. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the victim escaped unhurt. Enquiries are ongoing,” said a police spokesperson.

The scare has left locals in St Budeaux deeply rattled. One parent told reporters:
“It’s absolutely terrifying. We walk our kids down this street every day — the thought that something like this could happen here is just horrific.”
