Blaze Rips Through Derelict Harrow Building – Huge Fire Brigade Response!

Inferno Ravages Old Building

A massive fire tore through a derelict building on Elmore Drive, Harrow, late Tuesday night. The flames gutted the entire ground and first floors, also damaging a single-storey side annexe. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the dramatic blaze.

Firefighters Battle the Blaze with Full Force

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters from Stanmore, Harrow, and Mill Hill charged to the scene. London Fire Brigade’s impressive 32-metre turntable ladders were deployed, dousing the fire from above to stop it spreading further.

Swift Response Brings Fire Under Control

The first emergency call hit Brigade Control Officers at 10:53 pm. Twelve calls followed rapidly as crews raced to Elmore Drive. Thanks to their tireless efforts, the fire was under control by 12:19 am – less than 90 minutes later.

Cause Unknown as Investigation Continues

Fire investigators are still probing the scene to determine what sparked the blaze. Meanwhile, the London Fire Brigade urges local residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity around empty buildings.

“Our crews worked swiftly to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties. We deployed specialist equipment, including two of our 32-metre turntable ladders, to tackle the flames from above,” said a London Fire Brigade spokesperson.
