A motorcyclist has been airlifted to a major trauma centre in London following a serious collision on Anerley Road in Penge this afternoon.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with the London Air Ambulance landing in nearby Betts Park to assist. The rider was treated at the scene before being flown to hospital. The severity of the rider’s injuries remains unclear at this time.
A police cordon is in place and Anerley Road remains closed as officers manage traffic and investigate the circumstances of the crash. The Collision took place near to the Baptist church.
