Major Fire Erupts in Ilford Flat
Emergency services scrambled to a serious fire in a flat on Northbrook Road, Ilford this afternoon. Reports came in around 12:30pm on Saturday, 12th April 2025, prompting a swift response from the London Fire Brigade and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Four fire engines were deployed to battle the blaze.
One Person Treated On Scene
Paramedics treated one individual at the scene. Their condition remains undisclosed. Thankfully, no one needed hospital treatment, according to the London Ambulance Service spokesperson who confirmed, “We sent an ambulance crew and Incident Response Officer to the scene, and no patients required conveyance to hospital.”
Fire Under Investigation as Officers Guard Scene
The fire affected a property on Northbrook Road, although the full extent of the damage is not yet known. Firefighters worked hard to bring the flames under control. Meanwhile, two Met Police officers are stationed outside, securing the site. Fire investigators from the Fire Investigation Unit (FIU) are now on scene probing the cause of the fire.
