Man Stabbed in Kirkdale in Early Morning Attack
Police have launched an urgent probe after a 39-year-old man was stabbed in Kirkdale, south London, in the early hours of Sunday.
Stabbing Shock Outside Greyhound Pub
Around 4:15am, officers on patrol were flagged down by a member of the public. They rushed to the scene with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service to find the victim suffering from stab wounds.
The man was immediately given first aid before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully, doctors confirmed his injuries are non-life threatening and non-life changing.
No Arrests Yet as Police Hunt Witnesses
So far, no arrests have been made. Police are still piecing together the circumstances surrounding the stabbing, believed to have involved a screwdriver as the weapon.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “An investigation has been launched, and officers are working to establish the full facts. We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.”
