Man in His 20s Hospitalised After Woolwich Stabbing – UKNIP

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed multiple times in Woolwich, southeast London, on Friday night (13 June).

Emergency services were called to Plumstead Road at approximately 8.45pm after reports that a man had been attacked by a group of men.


Police and Ambulance Response

Metropolitan Police officers and London Ambulance Service crews responded to the scene, where they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He received immediate medical treatment and was taken to hospital.

Police have since confirmed that his condition has been assessed as non-life-threatening, and further updates are awaited.


Police Investigation Ongoing

In a statement, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“Around 8.45pm on Friday, 13 June, officers responded following reports that a man had been attacked by a group of men in Plumstead Road, Woolwich.

A man in his 20s was treated at the scene for multiple stab injuries and was taken to hospital.

His condition has been assessed as non-life-threatening, and we await further updates.

No arrests have been made, and officers are making urgent enquiries to locate the suspects.”


Appeal for Witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around Plumstead Road to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference 8162/13JUN, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
