Weekend Bloodbath in London: Two Dead, 11 Injured in Spate of Violent Attacks

A brutal weekend of violence has rocked London, leaving two men dead and at least 11 others injured. The Metropolitan Police are investigating multiple serious assaults, stabbings, and a shooting across several boroughs. The mayhem unfolded between Friday 5 July and Sunday 7 July in Neasden, Erith, Chingford, Willesden, Vauxhall, Hillingdon, and Croydon.

Two Girls Arrested After Double Stabbing in Erith

At around 3pm on Saturday 6 July, a horrifying attack in Erith left a 47-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man injured in a double stabbing. The man remains in a stable condition in hospital. Police swiftly arrested two 16-year-old girls in connection with the attack. No further suspects have been identified yet.

Violence Spreads Across London Boroughs

The weekend’s violence isn’t confined to Erith. Serious assaults, including stabbings and a shooting, were reported in Neasden, Chingford, Willesden, Vauxhall, Hillingdon, and Croydon. Emergency services rushed victims to hospital as police launched multiple investigations.

Police Urge Calm and Appeal for Information

The Metropolitan Police have called on Londoners to stay calm amidst growing fears. A spokesperson said:

“We are dealing with a number of complex investigations across multiple boroughs and are doing all we can to bring those responsible to justice. We urge anyone with information, CCTV, or footage to come forward immediately.”
