Met Hits 20 Suspects with Terror Charges in London – Total Now 134

The Met’s Counter Terrorism Command has slammed the brakes on alleged supporters of the banned group Palestine Action. On August 9, 20 suspects were arrested across London and slapped with charges under the Terrorism Act. This latest batch pushes the total charged up to a staggering 134.

The Crown Prosecution Service has approved the charges. The accused have been notified by post and are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on November 24.

“If convicted, those charged face serious consequences that could ruin careers and block overseas travel,” warned Commander Dominic Murphy. “Anyone thinking of backing Palestine Action should think again. Arrests are happening and prosecutions follow swiftly.”

  • Up to six months in jail.

  • Jobs at risk – employers may refuse or sack staff with convictions.
  • Universities could deny enrolment.
  • International travel bans, including the US, Australia, Japan, and soon EU countries under ETIAS.
  • Professional bodies can discipline or revoke licences.
