Warrington Man Busted in Major Drugs and Money Laundering Sting

55-Year-Old Nabbed in Early Morning Raid

A 55-year-old man was arrested this morning in Warrington by the National Crime Agency, backed by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit. He faces serious charges including conspiracy to supply and import controlled drugs, conspiracy to launder money, and involvement in organised crime.

Series of Arrests Rock North West

On June 18, five men were detained during raids in Wallasey and Deeside, with a woman also arrested later that day. All suspects remain on bail as the investigation heats up.

Luxury Assets Seized Amidst Drug Probe

Authorities have already confiscated high-value items, including a Mercedes-Benz, a Land Rover, two Rolex watches, and roughly £5,000 in cash. These seizures highlight the lavish spending linked to the criminal gang.

Drug Trafficking Fronted by Legit Haulage Firms

The gang allegedly used legitimate haulage firms to ship generators from the UK to the Netherlands. The goods were then sent back to UK addresses, with heroin concealed inside. Freight forwarding companies acted as unwitting couriers in this elaborate smuggling ring.
