Tragic M26 Crash: Two Dead, One Critical
Disaster struck on the M26 motorway near junction 2A at around 1pm on Thursday 15 October 2020. A red LDV Maxus flatbed van carrying three men slammed into a grey DAF articulated lorry. The van was heading coastbound when the fatal collision happened.
Two Men Killed at Scene, Third Critical
Two of the van’s occupants—men from maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone in their 20s and 40s—died instantly. The third man was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is on the case. They want anyone who saw the crash or has dash cam footage of the M26 near junction 2A, especially moments before the smash, to come forward.
