Murder investigation launched after 15 year old boy stab victim dies after stabbing outside Wandsworth Southside – UKNIP

Officers are investigating a fatal stabbing in Wandsworth. Officers on patrol came across a number of males fighting in Garratt Lane SW18 at around 16:58hrs on Thursday, 29 October. Two males were found near the Garratt Lane Burial Ground suffering from knife injuries. London Ambulance Service attended. Victim 1 – believed to be aged 15 – was taken to hospital, where he later died. His next of kin have been informed. Formal identification awaits. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course. Victim 2 – also believed to be aged 15 – sustained injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. He remains in hospital. Two males have been arrested. A Man was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He had suffered a head injury that did not require hospital treatment. A Second man was arrested on suspicion of affray. Both males are in police custody. Full enquiries into the circumstances continue. Specialist Crime detectives have been informed. Road closures and an extensive crime scene are in place. A Section 60 Order has been authorised for the whole of Wandsworth from 17:58hrs. Anyone who has information, video or images that could assist police are asked to call 101 reference CAD 5042/29 Oct.
