Teen Held Twice Over Stabbing Death of Kamal Nuur
A 17-year-old lad was first arrested on Saturday, 10 October but quickly bailed. Nine days later, on Thursday, 19 November, he was hauled in again on suspicion of murder. After being taken to a north London police station, he was bailed until early January.
More Arrests in Connection with Tragic Murder
- A 21-year-old man, detained on 14 October for allegedly helping an offender and drug supply offences, remains released under investigation.
- A 20-year-old male and a 17-year-old female, both arrested on 6 October on suspicion of murder, were bailed and now also released under investigation.
Kamal Nuur, 18, Stabbed to Death in North London
Police were scrambled to North Road, N7, at 8pm on Monday, 14 September after reports of a stabbing. Paramedics desperately tried to save 18-year-old Kamal Nuur but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem on 17 September confirmed Kamal died from stab wounds.
Police Hunt Two Male Suspects on Bikes
Officers believe Kamal was chased and attacked near Goodinge Close, N7. The two suspects fled on bikes towards York Way.
New CCTV images show the pair cycling away rapidly along North Road, York Way, Brecknock Road, and Leighton Road.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge: “I’m urging anyone in or around Hargrave Place, N7, between 7pm and 8pm on 14 September to come forward. We believe the suspects met in this quiet street before the attack.
“They may have loitered there for a while before leaving around 7:55pm on their bikes. Even small details could be crucial. Please get in touch. Confidentiality is guaranteed.”
