Teen Arrested After Schoolboy Killed in Horrific Minibus Crash
The local community is mourning after a schoolboy named Szymon was tragically killed in a minibus collision. Szymon was a pupil at a nearby technology college.
Manslaughter Probe Underway
Kent Police swooped on a gravesend/" title="Gravesend" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Gravesend teen, arresting him on suspicion of manslaughter following the fatal smash. The shocking incident happened on Vale Road at around 8:25am on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. The crash involved a white Mercedes Sprinter minibus near the junction with Colyer Road and Park Avenue.
Szymon Dies After Crash
Emergency crews rushed the boy to hospital, but despite their efforts, he later died. Police have informed the child’s next of kin.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
Kent Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash or the minibus in the moments before the tragedy to get in touch. Drivers are also urged to check dashcam footage that could help with the investigation.
