Armed police stormed a caravan at the Booker Cash and Carry site in Acton during the early hours of Wednesday morning, arresting a man in connection with a firearms incident.

The suspect is alleged to have fired twice at a motorbike rider before fleeing to the caravan on Essex Park Mews in Acton

Officers, including armed response units, quickly surrounded the caravan and detained the man without further incident. He was taken into custody and remains under police supervision while investigations continue.

 

 


A crime scene has been established in the area as officers search for the firearm and examine the suspect’s vehicle for evidence. A firearm was also recovered from the Caravan whilst the man was arrested.

“We take incidents involving firearms extremely seriously, and our officers acted swiftly to ensure public safety,” a police spokesperson stated.
