13-Year-Old Boy Charged After Brutal London School Stabbing
High Court Trial Set at Old Bailey This Autumn
A 13-year-old boy accused of stabbing two boys in the neck and spraying a third with insect spray during a shocking attack at a London school appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday.
The youngster, unnamed for legal reasons, nervously confirmed his name while his father watched on in court. The first Crown Court hearing was presided over by Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb, who set a trial date for later this year.
Attack Caught in Front of Teacher and Pupils
Prosecutors revealed chilling details of the incident.
- “Child C opened the classroom door and the defendant sprayed him directly in the face.”
- “Once inside, he stabbed child A in the neck. This happened in front of a teacher and several pupils.”
- The defendant then fled but returned moments later and stabbed child B in the neck on the playground, witnessed by others.”
The suspect escaped unnoticed for around three hours before police caught him.
Serious Charges Laid
The boy faces:
- Two counts of attempted murder
- Unlawfully administering a noxious substance
- Possession of a knife on school premises without lawful authority
Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb will oversee the case, scheduled for a plea hearing on July 3, with a three-week trial set to begin on November 23.
Remanded in Custody
The defendant was remanded in custody after the hearing, with his father present in court.
Police and security remain alert around Kingsbury High School, which was shut following the violent attack.
