A 26-year-old man from Buckfastleigh has been locked up after a spree of crimes, including carrying a knife and smashing a neighbour’s window.

Three Years Inside for Prison Smuggling

Danny Morgan, of Market Close, Buckfastleigh, was sentenced at Exeter Crown Court on Tuesday, 3 March. He landed three years behind bars for sneaking banned items into prison. On top of that, he picked up five months for carrying an offensive weapon in public.

Vandalism, Drugs and Threatening Behaviour

Morgan’s bad behaviour didn’t stop there. He was slapped with an extra month for smashing a neighbour’s window and another month for having cannabis, a Class B drug. He also got three months for using threatening and abusive language that caused harassment and alarm. These sentences run concurrently.

Relief for Community as Criminal Is Locked Up

Police say Morgan’s crimes caused major distress in the area. With him behind bars, locals can breathe easier. Authorities thanked the public for their support in bringing this troublemaker to justice.
