Police are urgent for witnesses after a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a heavy goods vehicle in Greetland, Halifax.

Crash Details

The smash happened at 11.07am on Friday, 13 March, on Saddleworth Road near the junction with Stainland Road. An 86-year-old man walking in the area was hit by a DAF HGV.

 

Life-Threatening Injuries

The elderly pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. His condition remains serious.

Police Appeal for Help

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are on the case. They’re asking anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage to come forward.
