Kamran Khan Sentenced at Inner London Crown Court

Kamran Khan, 44, from Streatham High Road, lambeth/">Lambeth, has been handed a 15-year prison sentence for abusing a child. The sentence was delivered on Wednesday, April 1, at Inner London Crown Court. Khan was earlier found guilty on January 15 of ten sexual offences against one girl, including rape and assault of a child under 13 years old.

Detective Constable Franky Green from the Met’s Child Abuse Investigation Team praised the courage of the victim and her family. He said:
"I commend the courage of the victim and her family who came forward to bring light to Khan’s terrible offences. Khan preyed on a defenceless child and hid behind formed connections as a smokescreen for his crimes. The immeasurable bravery of the victim and their family is tremendously appreciated." Evidence Uncovered After Shocking Family Accusation

Khan was arrested on July 6, 2025, after a family member accused him of rape and serious sexual assault. The abuse came to light when a relative witnessed interactions between Khan and the child. Khan threatened to kill the girl if she told anyone, but she bravely spoke out. Officers seized Khan’s phone, discovering pornographic content and evidence that the victim had been forced to watch videos on the device. Forensic and DNA evidence confirmed sexual contact between Khan and the victim.

Sex Offender List, Restraining Order, and Prevention Order Issued

Along with his 15-year sentence, Khan is now on the registered sex offenders list. He has also been served with a restraining order and a sexual harm prevention order, ensuring he remains under close watch.
