A father has been locked up for stabbing his own son three times in a shocking family attack.
Violent Argument Ends in Stabbing
Anthony Kimberely, 59, launched the vicious attack at a home on Garabaldi Road, Forest Town, around 9.30pm on 2 August last year. A heated argument inside the house spilt into the garden before Kimberely stabbed his 39-year-old son.
Victim Left Fighting for Life
The son was found collapsed in the street with serious wounds to his chest and arm. The chest stab punctured the membrane around his heart, landing him in intensive care.
15 Years Behind Bars
Kimberly was arrested at the scene and later did not comment detectives. At Nottingham Crown Court, he was cleared of attempted murder but found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. On 17 April, Kimberley was sentenced to 15 years in prison and slapped with a restraining order banning any contact with his son.
