Major emergency services rushed to the NatWest Bank on Golders Green Road after reports of a gas or noxious substance smell inside the premises triggered concern on Wednesday. The Metropolitan Police‘s Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) team attended with specialist equipment to sample the air, while London Fire Brigade (LFB) and London Ambulance Service (LAS) also deployed multiple units to the scene.
Specialist Hazmat Team On Site
Following the initial report, the Met Police’s CBRN squad were called in to investigate the potentially hazardous substance. Equipped with advanced air sampling technology, they conducted thorough tests inside the bank to identify any dangerous chemicals.
Fire Brigade Responds With Rescue
The London Fire Brigade sent several appliances, including emergency rescue and command vehicles. Their presence was vital to ensure safety protocols were followed while assessing the threat level of the reported gas smell. 
Ambulance Service Ready For Any
The London Ambulance Service deployed multiple ambulances, rapid response teams, and specialist units to provide immediate medical assistance if required. No injuries have been reported at this time.
