Basingstoke Man, 23, Busted for Cannabis and Nitrous Oxide Supply

Youth Arrested in High Harm Team Sting

A 23-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply. Police also suspect him of being involved in the supply of nitrous oxide, a psychoactive substance. The arrest happened around 2pm on September 27, during a swoop by Basingstoke’s High Harm Team on St Peter’s Road.

Drugs, Cash, and Counterfeit Money Seized

Officers seized a stash of cannabis, nitrous oxide canisters, a lock knife, and a sum of cash. They also uncovered suspected counterfeit notes during searches linked to the man.

Man Released but Investigation Ongoing

The suspect has been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries. No further details have been provided at this stage.
