Cyclist Killed in Shocking Southampton Crash
Tragedy struck Southampton early this morning (11 November) when a cyclist was fatally hit by a lorry on Western Avenue.
Deadly Morning Smash
Police rushed to the scene at 6.07am after reports of a serious collision involving a man in his 50s and a lorry. Sadly, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Man Arrested Over Deadly Crash
A 28-year-old Dudley man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
