Police swooped on Broadway, Bexleyheath at 6.50pm on Saturday, 8 April after reports of a man carrying what looked like a “ball bearing” gun.

The man, believed to be in his late 30s, was arrested nearby. Officers seized what is thought to be an air weapon at the scene.
