Tragic Crash on Leamore Lane: Driver Dies, Passenger Critically Injured
A horror smash on Leamore Lane, Walsall has ended in tragedy this morning. At 6.34am, a car crashed headlong into a wall, sparking a major emergency response.

West Midlands Ambulance Service scrambled three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor, a critical care paramedic, and Hazardous Area Response Team paramedics to the scene.
Driver Dies at Scene, Passenger in Critical Condition
A spokeswoman said: “On arrival, crews found two men trapped in the car, freed by firefighters. The driver was in a critical condition. Sadly, despite the best efforts of ambulance staff, he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
She added: “The passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was given advanced trauma care on-site before being rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
