Murder Probe Underway After Teen Shot Dead in Plumstead

A tragic killing in Plumstead has sparked a full-scale murder investigation.

Police rushed to a car park on Hartville Road, SE18, just before 5pm on Friday, 14 June, after reports of gunfire.

Teenager Dies at Scene

Armed officers, local cops, London Ambulance Service, and Air Ambulance all scrambled to the scene. A young man, believed to be in his late teens, was found with critical injuries.

He sadly died shortly after arrival. Authorities are working quickly to inform his next of kin.

Homicide Squad Takes Charge

The Homicide and Major Crime Command teamed up with Greenwich police for the investigation.

There have been no arrests yet, and enquiries continue. A large crime scene remains cordoned off, with a heightened police presence in the area to reassure local residents.
