  • The first, aged 33, remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
  • The second, in his 30s, attacked police and NHS staff after arrest and escaped from the hospital.

Investigation and Appeal for Witnesses

Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the probe. Detective Chief Inspector Richard Vandenbergh said:

“This all started at a small vigil for another stabbing victim. Some people have spoken to us, but I believe others caught footage of the brawl. We need those witnesses to come forward now.”

“One suspect is in custody. We’re working to find the second man, who is injured and must get medical help immediately.”

A crime scene remains in place as inquiries continue.
