Man Stabbed to Death at NW6 Home – Police Hunt Witnesses

Police and emergency services were called just before 10am on Tuesday, 20 December, after reports of a stabbing at a residential address in Gable Lodge, Mowbray Road, NW6. Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene where 44-year-old Andre Foster, also known as Andre Jacks, was found fatally stabbed.

Despite desperate attempts to save him, Andre was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support. A post-mortem is scheduled for Thursday, 22 December.

Detectives Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, leading the investigation, appealed for witnesses. She said: “Andre’s family has been devastated by this senseless violence. Our thoughts are with them at this sad time.

“We believe people at the address during the murder left before police arrived. These witnesses are crucial, and I urge them to contact us immediately. If you saw anyone rushing away from Gable Lodge or have any information about who did this, please do the right thing and get in touch.”

Police Boost Patrols Amid Community Shock

Superintendent Neil Holyoak from the Met’s North West Command said the community shared police’s shock. “We will be increasing patrols in the area over the coming days to reassure locals. Please speak to officers if you have any concerns.”

He added: “Our Specialist Crime unit is fully engaged in the investigation. We thank residents for their patience while the scene is processed. If you have any information, no matter how small, please come forward.”
